Sparrows Point, MD Our Warehouse Shipping/Receiving clerk performs a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks to assist with the smooth operation of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities Performs data entry and filing tasks for warehouse department.
Reports to warehouse supervisor or management to alert them of any issues with shipping and receiving Process orders, accepts deliveries Verify incoming shipments by comparing identifying information against bills of landing, invoices, orders, or other records Schedule workloads Order office supplies Keeps warehouse office clean and organized Performs other administrative and clerical related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to greet visitors and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software Basic understanding of office equipment Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems Ability to organize and prioritize work Must be a team player Must be punctual and dependable Compensation:
$17 per hour This is a full-time position - 7:
00am - 3:
30pm Monday through Friday This is a full-time position.
