Position Overview:
As a Preconstruction Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of our projects by overseeing the preconstruction phase from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include sales, planning, leadership, and organization, with the long-term goal of building a dedicated preconstruction team under your guidance. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or medical projects, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key
Responsibilities:


  • Lead the preconstruction efforts for healthcare and medical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the preconstruction phase are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the healthcare sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for prospective projects.
  • Utilize software such as Prolog, Onscreen Takeoff, and BlueBeam to streamline preconstruction processes and enhance project efficiency.
  • Lead preconstruction meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams during the preconstruction phase.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in preconstruction management and implement strategies to stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in preconstruction management, with a focus on healthcare or medical projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, cost estimating, and value engineering.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Prolog, Onscreen Takeoff, and BlueBeam.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
