Customer Service Support Representative

Purpose of Position:

We have a vacancy for Customer Service Support Representative to be based in the Baltimore, MD area. This person would be responsible for administrative tasks and paperwork related to general cargo and LME, including processing of data to maintain accurate inventory or LME requirements for warehousing operations.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure the seamless shipment of materials

  • ? ?? Coordinate with carriers and schedule appointments to ensure seamless shipments of materials

  • ? ?? Data input and document processing for bill of lading, inventory system and various databases

  • ? ?? Process various paperwork to ensure smooth administrative operations (FOT, rent invoices, balance rent invoices, SPE, etc.

  • ? ? ?? Issue and cancel warrants for warehoused material

  • ? ?? Provide customer service support and updates via email or phone/Provide backup on other accounts during high volume or absences

  • ? ?? Develop, maintain and distribute daily reports as appropriate/Assist Traffic Coordinators on accounts as required

  • ? ?? Provide support on special projects, inventory discrepancies and other assignments and duties that may be assigned

Position requirements:

  • ? ?? High school diploma or equivalent

  • ? ?? Minimum of one year inventory/warehouse coordination experience desired or possess demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform above mentioned tasks

  • ? ?? Prior experience with billing is highly desirable

  • ? ?? Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi task

  • ? ? ?? Solid written and verbal communication skills

  • ? ? ? Proficiency with computer and appropriate software and possess the aptitude to learn and apply new skills quickly (Excel, Word, Outlook and Freeway )

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
